Tiny Cabin is the name of an innovative tourism project developed by Tecno Fast, which consists of small houses of only 24 m2, which seek to boost tourism investment in Chile and which already debuted in the country with its first 10 units, which were they settled on the Carretera Austral, a few minutes from Puerto Tranquilo and Bahía Murta, on land on the shores of Lake General Carrera.

These houses, designed by the outstanding Chilean architects Mathiaz Klotz and Felipe Assadi, today are part of Chelenko Lodge, and are intended for both Chilean and foreign tourists.

The project also has a wooden jar with its deck for each Tiny Cabin and on the first line of the lake, so that through this new format of accommodation travelers can enjoy the natural environment.

In this way, the first Tiny Cabin that will be located on the Austral Highway will form part of a hotel community that seeks to encourage tourism investment, which in the first half of 2019 recorded its weakest record in ten years, totaling US $ 1,203 million , according to the latest cadastre of the National Chamber of Commerce (CNC).

To spread this new accommodation offer, Tecno Fast will create a collaborative network on its website (tinycabin.cl), where each place and availability for national and foreign tourists will be informed, along with publishing on sites such as Airbnb and Booking.

“We aim to create an innovative community of collaborative accommodation, the first of its kind in the world and that seeks to promote national tourism and invite to tour Chile in an environmentally friendly way, complying with international trends and quality requirements of future tourism ”, Explains the CEO and founder of Tecno Fast, Cristian Goldberg.

The executive adds that Tecno Fast aims to reach 1,000 leased units in the coming years. This, taking into account an analysis of the specialized travel site Booking, which indicated that in 2018 there was a 125% increase in demand for the Tiny Homes category globally, 95% in recycled houses and 110% in homes located in environments rural and country.
