Among 150 international projects:
The leading company in space solutions received the highest distinction from the Modular Building Institute (MBI) for its innovative Tiny Cabin project, in the category “Relocatable modular hotel under 10,000 square feet.”
Santiago, March 16, 2020. – Tecno Fast, one of the world’s leading companies dedicated to the rental, sale, manufacture and assembly of modular spaces, was recognized in the so-called Oscars for modular manufacturing, which each year the Modular Building Institute (MBI) awards to the most innovative buildings and advanced in the industry
Its TIny Cabin project, a 24.5 m2 modular and sustainable accommodation, received first place at the 37th World of Modular convention held in Orlando, United States, in the category “Relocatable modular hotel under 10,000 square feet”.
The efficiency of these accommodations designed by renowned Chilean architects Mathias Klotz and Felipe Assadi was highlighted, which due to their characteristics can be easily located in wild, wooded, coastal sites and even in the desert or Patagonia, without altering their technology.
“We feel very grateful and happy with this recognition. It was an arduous competition with 150 projects from all over the world, and Tiny Cabin surprised us with its innovation and development with high quality standards and robotic technology”, said Cristián Goldberg Aichele, Rental & Home Manager of Tecno Fast.
Likewise, on the occasion, Tecno Fast obtained two honorable mentions for its El Tambo project, a mining camp for 1,800 workers in Quebrada Blanca II, in the category “Housing for relocatable modular workforce of more than 10,000 square feet”, and for its video corporate in the category “Multimedia piece”.
