We started 2022 by fulfilling a long-cherished dream: to operate in Europe through the acquisition of ALCO, a company with 55 years of experience in the construction machinery and module rental market.

This acquisition is part of our international expansion plan to consolidate ourselves as one of the world’s leading companies in rental and sale of modular spaces, after having acquired in 2021 the company Triumph Modular in the New England area on the east coast of the United States.

We permanently innovate, as shown by our business lines that grew in number from two to nine in just four years. In addition, we have entered niche modules with a greater degree of sophistication, such as the Tiny Cabin Leaf, a prototype that contributes to promoting sustainable tourism, with a novel architectural design that integrates into the natural environment.

To obtain these remarkable results, we encourage everyone at Tecno Fast to be internal entrepreneurs as part of our corporate culture.

Collaborating with the State is also our priority. We want to give quick and effective solutions in areas such as health, housing, education, culture and offices. In 2022, we were awarded the construction of 160 social housing units in Chile. We are very happy to contribute with worthy solutions and a high standard, which can be a very relevant change at a social level, for the company and the market.

One of the most important milestones of this period has been to consolidate operations, in both human and financial resources, which implies that we must work on adaptation to integrate the diversity of cultures coexisting today in Tecno Fast, a global company. Consolidating management in SAP, sales in Sale Force and being a 100% digitized company is a priority.

Another positive aspect of this year 2022 was the management of mining camps through our Village line. In these hotels, mining customers and suppliers accommodate their staff with the assurance that they are pleasantly taken care of.

In terms of sustainability, we are addressing management of the recycling of the garbage we produce, like the plastics which today we recover to manufacture terraces and thus generate circular economy in our processes.

We are also incorporating solar panels into the Colina factory. Our Lampa plant already generates 95% of its energy with solar panels. Along the same lines, we have set ourselves the goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2026, a challenge we also want to address with our suppliers.

Tecno Fast employees are the pillar of the company. Without the efficiency, effort, work and intelligence of each one of them, we would not have been able to be what we are today. A proper work environment and good people management are strategic for any company, and we are proud to have achieved 82% satisfaction in our first work environment survey.
