5.400 CAMP

The first 5,400 camp expansion phase of the copper mine is located 170 km south-east of Antofagasta, at 3,200 meters above sea level.

This work comprises four three-story, S4-576-type buildings, featuring Plug & Play modular technology, and it comprises a surface of approximately 14,000 m2, where each building has 86 portable modular units with two bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms.

The project contemplates 576 total beds per building (4 buildings in total). The work also contemplates the fitting out of the sanitary network, sewers, drinking water and firefighting water networks, as well as electricity grids and cable TV network — in addition to civil works such as a parking lot for light vehicles and sidewalks for pedestrians.
