Tecno Fast ATCO, through a tender, developed and built a portable dining room and restroom solution for the company in mining sites. The main constraint for the performance of these modular units was not having a suitable drinking water supply and a sewer network available in the area. For this reason, we developed a design that added a water tank for both drinking water and sewers.

Another challenge, which implied a major design complexity, was the need for embedding an electric substation within the restrooms module to supply electric power to the units, since there is only high voltage power available in the area.

Given the weather conditions, a split-type climate system was installed in the dining room units, and heating systems were installed in restrooms, consisting of oil-filled electric heaters.
