DOÑA INES DE COLLAHUASI

The Doña Ines de Collahuasi copper mine is located in the Tarapaca Region, 180km south-east of Iquique, Chile.

The construction of this huge initial camp, for workers and contractors, was executed in only 6 months, overcoming harsh weather conditions and geographic constraints, since it was built at 3,500 meters above sea level and at more than 2,000 km away from our plant.
