MOBILE DINING ROOMS

Tecno Fast ATCO, developed and built a portable dining room and restroom solution in mining sites for Minera Doña Ines de Collahuasi. This work lasted 90 days from the work order’s issuing to the delivery of operational units in the mine’s extraction area. The main constraint for the performance of these modular units was not having a suitable drinking water supply and sewer network available in the area.

As a solution proposed by our engineers, a system adding a tank with the necessary water for sanitary services and their waste was designed. In addition, the construction for the installation of an electric sub-station inside the restroom module to supply the structure was designed, since the area only has high-tension power.

To ensure the comfort of those using these structures, a Split-type climatization system was added to the dining room units, and oil-electric heating to the restrooms.
