200 km from Santiago, at an altitude of over 3,600 in the middle of the Andes mountains.
Los Pelambres mine has to function under extreme climatic conditions, not only due to the altitude at which it is located, but also due to the weather conditions in the mountain range. To protect their machinery, especially transportation trucks, we were entrusted as a company with the mission of building not only a warehouse to protect their vehicles, but the inside also had to have all the necessary equipment for a high-level office.
Despite the dire weather conditions and the expected complications of such a structure, the whole structure was ready to use in only 3 months.
