The Veladero mine is located in the San Juan province, Argentina, at an altitude of 4,000-4,850 meters above sea level, reason for which the weather becomes a big problem during construction. The high temperatures in summer and the freezing ones in winter restrict the type of construction that can be done, since this must not only comply with high mining standards but possess a better insulation and adequate roofing resistance. Thus, Tecno Fast ATCO was entrusted with designing and building the Veladero central offices, fulfilling the climate demands and delivering the highest lodging standards in a fully equipped office.
