Collahuasi is located 243 km east of Iquique, Region II of Chile, 4,300 meters above sea level, making it one of the highest altitude mining operations in the world. The administrative decision to feed the plant with the mineral from Rosario forced them to install a new mine office in the latter mine.
The new office includes control, conference, communications, topography, mining operation and maintenance superintendence, and change rooms, among others.
With this new work built in only 203,000 man-hours, our company was once again chosen as the best contractor company.
