San Lorenzo Village, located in the Antofagasta region of Chile, at 3,200 meters above sea level, is part of the Escondida mining housing complex. Our company built the rings 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 within a 5-month term each. Each ring comprises 220 bedrooms (440 beds) and a 5,784 m2 area, with 116 modular units, besides interior patios.
This is in addition to all the necessary sanitary urbanization and electric utility works for the regular operation of the complex, which include drinking water and firefighting water networks, sewers, electric grid, sidewalks, parking lots, and paved roads. The main constraint of this project was to fulfill the strict safety regulations by Escondida within its premises, an aspect that was however successfully complied with in every stage of the project.
